Sky Sport Breakers' star Barry Brown Jr will be sidelined for the next two weeks, due to a groin injury.
"Two weeks seems realistic", says Head Coach Mody Maor.
"There's a strain there and we will have to see how it responds."
Brown Jr has been a revelation for the Breakers in NBL23, averaging 20.4 points across 16 appearances as a picture of consistency, registering double-figure scoring in every game this season.
The 26-year-old is one of the favourites for the league's Best Sixth Man Award, having played a key role in the Breakers' rise from the bottom of the ladder last year, up to third place at the end of Round 14.
"All of our players are important," says Maor.
"There isn't one player within our rotation who isn't. In the previous press conference I knocked on wood and said it was great to have my whole team for one game so I guess that's not on the cards (now).
"We've been through it before, we've been through games without Barry and won and we will be through games without Barry and win again."
Alex McNaught replaced Brown Jr on the roster for the Breakers' clash against Melbourne United on Thursday night.
