After a strong Championship Series, New Zealand Breakers star forward Jarrell Brantley has signed a 10-day contract with the NBA's Utah Jazz.

The Jazz announced that Brantley would be returning to Utah where he spent two seasons as a two-way player in 2019-20 and 2020-21, playing a total of 37 NBA games during that time.

In his first season with the Breakers, Brantley suited up in 28 games averaging 16.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game as New Zealand finished second on the ladder, advancing all the way to the Championship Series in the Playoffs where they fell short in game five against Sydney.

Brantley becomes the second player from the NBL's Championship Series to make his way to the NBA, with Sydney's Xavier Cooks inking a multi-year deal with the Washington Wizards.
