#32 PAUL HENARE
Inducted 2011
Paul Henare was the club’s first-ever signing and set the standard for leadership on and off the court. The point guard played a key role in the Breakers’ rise in the NBL, later transitioning to coaching, where he guided the team to the 2016 Grand Final. With over a decade of service to the club, Henare’s legacy is one of grit, loyalty, and leadership.

#24 DILLON BOUCHER
Inducted 2013
Dillon Boucher epitomised the Breakers’ hard-nosed, team-first mentality. His high basketball IQ, hustle, and defensive tenacity were crucial to the club’s championship success. As a key member of the Breakers’ first three NBL titles (2011, 2012, 2013), Boucher’s influence extended beyond statistics, setting a culture of accountability and excellence.

#23 CJ BRUTON
Inducted 2015
A six-time NBL champion and one of the greatest clutch performers in league history, CJ Bruton played a defining role in the Breakers’ three-peat in 2011, 2012 and 2013. His leadership, scoring ability, and championship pedigree helped transform the club into a powerhouse. A true winner, Bruton’s impact cements him as one of the club’s all-time greats.

The Blackwell family played a pivotal role in the early foundation and success of the BNZ Breakers. As investors and passionate supporters, their commitment helped shape the club’s culture and long-term sustainability. Their contributions extended beyond financial backing, fostering a family-oriented environment that remains a core part of the Breakers’ identity today.
