Elite Canadian prospect Will Riley has named the NBL's New Zealand Breakers as one of five potential landing spots for his next career move.
Riley, a 6-foot-9 wing out of The Phelps School, is one of the top prospects in the 2025 recruiting class. Currently considering his future, the five-star prospect has announced he is deciding between US colleges Alabama, Arizona, Illinois, Kentucky, and the Breakers - as part of the NBL's Next Stars program - as his next step.
Riley has been described as someone who can score in a variety of ways, using a combination of nifty ball-handling and shifty footwork to get to his spots on the offensive end of the floor.

Speaking to On3, Riley revealed he is looking to land on a team that will utilise his strengths and allow him to flourish.
“I’m going to be looking for a team that plays me the way that I play,” Riley said.
“I don’t want to go somewhere that is going to stick me on the block, because of my height. I’m OK playing in the post a little bit, but I’m at my best with the ball in my hands, playing in ball screens, and creating and shooting.”
