Breakers Prepared for Series' 'Most Important Game'

The Sky Sport Breakers have ironed out the kinks in their game-plan and are ready to walk away from Qudos Bank Arena with another win on Friday according to sparkplug scorer Barry Brown Jr.
The Breakers emerged from Game 1 with a hard-fought victory over the Kings in Sydney - largely thanks to the emphatic, all-around performance from Will McDowell-White - to take first blood in the series with an eight-point win.
The Kings bounced back and retaliated well at Spark Arena on Sunday though, and levelled the series at one-all ahead of this weekend's pair of series-defining fixtures.
Brown Jr says his teammates are under no illusions about how important Friday's matchup is.
“Game 3 is the most important game,” Brown Jr said.
“It’s basketball at the end of the day, you win some you lose some.
“We come to every game fearless and we come to every game feeling like we want to win”
“The key to beating them is making them play our game.
“It’s a matter of us coming out and playing New Zealand basketball, putting our best foot forward each and every game, each and every possession. It’s up to us to make it happen."
Both the Breakers and Kings are likely to set record crowds in the next two games, and Qudos Bank Arena is almost certain to be bouncing with the energy of over 14,000 fans - most of whom would be supporting the home team.
Brown Jr says the potential of a hostile environment doesn't worry him.
“I hope there’s 20,000 [Kings fans], it doesn’t bother me,” he said.
Game 3 of the Championship Series between the New Zealand Breakers and Sydney Kings tips off on Friday night at Qudos Bank Arena at 7:30pm AEDT.
