New Zealand Breakers head coach Mody Maor has revealed the secret weapon that will be used to throw the Kings off ahead of Game 1 of the Championship Series.
The Breakers will enter the opening contest of the decisive series with a game-plan in place to intimidate the Sydney Kings in their own backyard.
Earlier in the season, Kings coach Chase Buford compared New Zealand’s aggressive play to the countries rugby union side - the All-Blacks - and Mody Maor is using those words to put together his winning formula.
“Living in New Zealand, I put the All Blacks at the top of my mind as something important to look into and dive into,” Maor told Newscorp.
“I feel like this is a place where all professional sports are going towards and I think the All Blacks were the pioneers.
“It has been me studying one of the most successful franchises, in terms of wins, in sport,” he said.

The clash between the Breakers and Kings in Round 10 was where the All Blacks comparison was born, after Kings coach Chase Buford accused a connection between the teams' style of play.
Buford exposed the sour taste in his mouth which led him to describe the toughness and physicality of the Breakers this season to the most successful sporting team in New Zealand.
It felt like we were playing the All Blacks out there with the physicality of the game," Buford said.
"Freedom of movement went totally out the window.
"Every play, they're grabbing, holding ... every single time, on a screen, on a cut, we just couldn't move as they were holding us,” he said.

Buford’s comments have given Maor a potential game-plan to play on, which could see the seven-year draught championship winners claim a well-earned trophy this year.
The Breakers only have to wait one more day before facing the Kings in what will seem to be a tough, physical battle on their end.
