Is History on The Breakers' Side?

The Sydney Kings will need to defy history if they're to come back to claim this year's Championship Series against the Sky Sport Breakers.
Incredibly, 25 of the last 26 winners of Game 1 of the Grand Final/Championship Series have gone on to win the ultimate prize.
It was way back in 2008 when the Melbourne Tigers fought back from a one-nil deficit against the Kings, before winning games two, four and five to claim the trophy.
Things look a little bit more optimistic when delving a little deeper into history, with South East Melbourne (twice) and the Perth Wildcats both coming back from a Game 1 loss to win in a best-of-three series throughout the early and mid 90s.
No team has ever lost the first two games of a Championship Series and recovered to win.
* In 1992 & 1996, both teams shared the same home court as the Grand Final venue.
Can the Kings bounce back against the odds?
Catch Game 2 of the Championship Series live on SkySport and Prime from 6pm tomorrow.
