Injury Bug Bites Breakers Again

It looks set to be a case of two in, one out for the New Zealand Breakers this week, after star local forward Finn Delany was ruled out with a calf injury.
ESPN’s Olgun Uluc has reported the former All-NBL Second Team nominee will miss 4-6 weeks with the injury, although the club hasn't put an official timeline on his return.
The news came hours after the Breakers announced Will McDowell-White will return to the active roster this weekend after missing a month of basketball with a leg injury, while Zylan Cheatham returned last week from a foot injury.
Cheatham was elevated to the active roster for the Breakers’ Round 11 clash with Cairns, but a “strict minutes restriction” saw him register no time on court.
The club also announced import forward Justinian Jessup will be re-evaluated in February.
Jessup played the first two games of the season before suffering a pelvis injury, and has since been replaced on the roster by Anthony Lamb.
Dom Kelman-Poto will replace Delany on the roster.
