The BNZ Breakers head into the FIBA international window on a crucial high after securing a nerve-wracking 102-96 road win against the Cairns Taipans. That victory, spearheaded by the clutch-time composure of Izaiah Brockington, showed they can close out winnable games.

The BNZ Breakers will rely heavily on the Kiwi core to step up, as they return from Tall Blacks duty (Mennenga, Le’afa, Britt, Davison, and Darling). Their challenge will be to immediately re-integrate the returning international players and maintain the synergy recently displayed by Brockington and Jackson-Cartwright.
