Showed signs of what he was capable of last season with the Brisbane Bullets, went to have a standout season in the NBL1 West and now joins the South East Melbourne Phoenix ready to make his mark on the NBL.

Having grown up in Sydney, he played college basketball firstly at Florida State University and then at California Baptist University, where he was the blocks leader in the Western Athletic Conference.

After starting his professional career in the Czech Republic in 2021, joined the Brisbane Bullets for the 2022/23 NBL season and the signs he showed at times were of an athletic, powerful and dynamic big man with great size and length who could have a significant impact.

Standing 6'9 and having a 7'4 wingspan, his dunking, blocking and rebounding ability were on show, including having 18 points and 13 rebounds against Melbourne United.

The 26-year-old would then spend this off-season playing in the NBL1 West for the Willetton Tigers with Mark Worthington among his teammates, and he was brilliant going on to be named the league's Best Defensive Player and make the All-Star Five.

Will now be looking to turn those encouraging signs into something more in this first season at South East Melbourne.
